So what's the end game then? Destroying the world economy is not my idea of coming out wealthy. Especially since it's 1st world countries who have been hit the hardest.

Perhaps Haiti or Sierra Leone are going to rule the world when everyone else is gone?

the rich have gotten much richer during the pandemic

costs went down for them while their small business competition died.

If Covid goes on forever, none of their riches are going to matter since government's will have gone broke on trying to fight the virus. Just look at the rising debt of every G7 nation.

The pandemic is not sustainable unless they want a world where every country is dirt poor as Haiti.

It's like cutting down every tree and expecting a utopia to await you at the end. You might get rich in the short term, but in the long term you also just killed the planet.

they do want most dirt poor and then to have a small middle class as a buffer, right now it is too large and prone to pressure them so they are mainly trying to reduce that

El Salvador ("The Savior") just made Bitcoin legal tender.

A shining light in the dark??? Who knows.
