In many towns "diverse population" translates to cultural imperialism, for example Los Angeles, Houston, Phoenix, Dallas all have a high Latino population.

This is already a contradiction. So some cultures are worth preserving over others? If diversity is the goal, there is no such thing as "ethnic foods", no culture should prevail.

The truth is diversity just destroys cultures, and this isn't being applied equally across all cultures.

Let's see China, some African countries, and Israel become diversified (to begin with), and their foods and traditions get mixed with everyone else.
