I'm totally skeptical about the 'Arab Barometer'. Co-founder is a Jewish scholar who has worked for the Brookings Institute and receives massive amounts of grants from among others Jewish NGO's and the State Department. Clearly they have a vested interest in promoting this idea that especially Iran is just begging to embrace liberal modernity and throw off the hated ebil Mullahs. He also gets an astonishing amount of money from Qatar who are obviously regional enemies of Iran. One wonders how these people consider themselves scholars. Doesn't mean it's nescessarily wrong but one should at least question that.

Here's his CV: https://cps.isr.umich.edu/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/Mark-Tessler-vita-April-2020.pdf

Can't find much information about GAMAAN though it seems like another NGO run outside of Iran in Europe probably populated by ex-pats with their own axe to grind. Would be interested to know who's funding it and wouldn't be surprised if it's people with the same agenda as the ones funding Tessler.

I don't know about the legitimacy of this stuff but if they're anything like the ones in England then I'm not surprised they're becoming less religious to be honest, MENAs and Indian subcontinentals are second only to blacks in terms of their small souledness and shallow materialism.

Muslim guys combine black conspicuous consumption with their obsession with shitty brands, cars and jewellery, mixed with the white kind of metrosexuality. Then to top it off they're all obsessed, literally to the man, with electronic gadgets and gizmos.

Muslim guys are seriously quite pathetic, they're actually probably more contemptible in this respect than blacks because at least blacks are just trying to flex wealth and masculinity. The pakis, arabs etc are also hyper bugmen and have a feminine, metrosexual, aura around their conspicuous consumption.

Yeah I’m not sure how to describe it but I know exactly what you mean. I’ve seen Paki/Arab guys in their 30’s (in England) laying in their beds using face-time with their mates, giggling like little girls, brushing their hair back at jokes & generally acting like compete fags. Half of them spend their time consuming product, high on coke & screwing underage girls & boys. The ‘Islamophobe’ Tommy Robinson types are wrong, Sharia Law is not the future. The degenerate Liberal melting pot is

With that said, we should differentiate between Muslims in the west who’ve abandoned religion in exchange for Globo-homo vs the genuine Arab and Iranian Nationalists that just happen to be secular. I reckon a lot of people in these polls belong to the latter group.

Are many of them atheists/irreligious? The Arab nationalists I've known, even the ones advocating Ba'athism (secular) have all been muslim.

It can be a cultural indicator there as much as anything, I’ve met Syrians that told me in private that they’re atheist/agnostic but still go to church or mosque & identify with their religious group. It’s hard to say how many because they would never admit this in public
