Nobody remembers or even mentions the Ottoman slave trade, the biggest and longest running slave operation the world has ever known which was still capturing slaves well after the British empire banned it. The ottomans were regularly snapping up white women for sex slavery as far away as Iceland well into the 20th century.

You responded to his comment basically doing what he said you shouldn't do.

"The ottomans were regularly snapping up white women for sex slavery as far away as Iceland well into the 20th century."

The Ottoman empire was neutered or nonexistant by this time.

I always cringe when people ring up the Barbary slave trade or Irish servitude, nonwhites and leftists don't care. Embellished pity parties aren't the way to go.

Refer to the Wikipedia article that shows white slaving as late as the 1920s.

I could not find any account of (European) slave raiding happening into the 1920s or 20th century, maybe other types of slavery did, they definitely were not going on raids to Iceland or med coast of Europe during the 1920s, Ottoman Barbary piracy was stomped out in the 19th century and it wouldn't be feasible anymore as Ottoman power decreased, and slaving was outlawed by pressure whilst previously it was approved by the Sultan.

The young Turks also took power in 1922 ending the Ottoman empire.

Saying that slaving bands were attacking 20th century Icelanders is an embellishment and simply not true.

"The slave trade ceased on the Barbary coast in the 19th and 20th centuries or when European governments passed laws granting emancipation to slaves"
