Just a heads up, I wouldn't take the opinions of a subreddit as anywhere near reflective of the opinions of the general population. I sincerely believe that many subs are astroturfed, or at least massively skewed towards leftist opinions.

By any chance are you able to move out of NYC? Or are you tied down there?

Also, which vaccine did you take? In a month or so you might consider making a post if you've had any side effects or anything

I'd love to get out but not as easy as it seems. My woman has a pretty good job. She talks about finding a new one but family matters and laziness have gotten into the way.

Believe me, living in Astoria, that subreddit is an accurate reflection of people here. I am living in AOC land and her popularity here is unassailable.

Btw, I am seeing more and more people wearing masks in the gym and outside while walking to and back again.

I took Pfizer. So far only felt mild soreness in my arm and a very subtle tiredness. Biggest problem has been the mental process in of expecting somethng to happen. When my lady was vaccinated she feltmsick again for a day, but she was also sick for twelve days. I was sick for three, so maybe my body is just better tuned to fighting this thing? I have no idea. It is not just the flu but not does it warrant this level of hysteria and overreaction either...
