I think the biggest hurdle is we have no rallying points. When all of us who understand this, know how many of us there are, and more or less know each other, then it's over for THEM.

But either way, it will be over for them at the next Carrington event. Should be soon.

it will be over for them at the next Carrington event.

I think they are planning on a carrington event and have erected large mountain and underground bases in hopes they can ride it out. In fact the population reduction plan might be an insurance policy to ensure that they don't have too many people to negotiate with during the mad scramble for shelter from a sun pulse.

If the event is only an EMP and doesn't fuck up the poles and cause flooding we might be able to survive with low tech. Living with horses and having a super low tech back up version of everything to farm with might be a really solid idea.

Yes, they are probably trying to depopulate before the forced return to the stone age. This is why Bitcoin isn't the sound money of the future, no matter how much I love its idea.

I think the way it usually happens is a super-flare followed, during the next solar cycle, with the whole ELE enchilada.

I can't wait to get back to that stone age though. It will be fun! Finally the simple life I have been looking for... =D
