I view abortion as morally repulsive and a crime against God and/or nature. Women who abort are baby killers and should be treated as such. I cannot bring myself to view these whores as anything other than subhuman. It is objectively and profoundly evil to rip an unborn child from its comfortable, natural place, suffocate it and throw its lifeless body in a trash can. That is what the process of abortion amounts to. Christians call it satanic but you don't have to be religious to see the pure, unalloyed evil in this. Abortion clinics are slaughterhouses and any society that tolerates their existence deserves to be destroyed.

Leaving these moral considerations aside, on-demand abortion is also one of the pillars of sexual liberation (along with contraceptives), and the possibility of simply slaughtering the baby at your own will removes the sense of accountability from women who choose to ride the cock caroussel like mad instead of behaving as they are intended to behave (that is, being mothers and nurturers). If we wish to restore the "natural order" then we simply cannot allow women to forego their natural role without suffering any consequences. The same goes for men, btw. This is why divorce should also be outlawed.

Politically speaking, the Texas law is a positive development. The fact that killing an unborn child is viewed as a "right" by society is a testament to the moral bankruptcy of the modern West. It is good that this "right" that is taken for granted by so many is being questioned. It also diverts the left's attention and energy as they are sure to go apeshit about it.

What about in cases of rape or the child being born into poverty? Or how about threat to the mother's life or if the child will be born with crippling mental and physical ailments making their life horrible and parasitic on society?

Rape and deformities are extreme cases. I do not necessarily oppose abortion during early pregnancy in such situations. The problem for me is that Abortion, incl. mid- and late-term, has become generalized and getting rid of a baby on-demand for absolutely ridiculous reasons is considered legitimate.

I don't think poverty serves as a justification for preventing a birth. Poor people can also improve their lives if they work hard enough. Why not give them a chance?

2nd and 3rd term abortions (and loss of pregnancy at all) can fuck up the cervix and make it incompetent for future pregnancies. Unfortunately, there are some extreme cases of deformity and other situations that can occur with the fetus that don't show up until later in pregnancy as well.

Regarding poverty, it's difficult enough for people with a viable education to find decent work. The US doesn't even have maternity leave that's worth a damn in most instances, so you've lost that same level of income for the post partum period. There's also childcare, which is the cost of rent/month in many areas. Government assistance only helps until you meet a certain income threshold, and that's not very high. Then you're left wondering what to do while you have to scrape by. Not all of those women are in coupled relationships, some may have a nonexistent support system and not have a home safety net.

It's easy to assume that these women were the dregs of society, and should have maybe chosen better partners or kept their legs closed. It's easy to say young families should have just pulled up their bootstraps or whatever the hell the saying is to make more money. It's a lot easier to have an opinion and tell people what they should have done than it is to walk in their footsteps and make those mistakes yourself.
