This is followed 10 years later by a micronova from our star, which is our 12,000-year cyclical Extinction Level Event, along with magnetic pole inversion, cosmic ray bombardment, a 90 degree rotation of Earth's crust, 1,000 mph tsunamis and hurricanes, as well as innumerable volcanoes. SOME people will somehow survive of course, just like every time before that.
