    I think a better conspiracy theory would be that the vax has some negative side effects (e.g. an implanted microchip, higher chance of infertility), but does not cause serious illness or death in most people who take it.

    However, after most docile people have taken the vax, the elite would then release a "new variant" that will wipe out a lot of the unvaxxed.

    The vaxxed will be so happy to be "protected" that they wouldn't mind (and might not even notice) any negative side effects. Thus, the elite play both sides.

    There are a lot of plays here but you're right that it might be a 'maim' and then cull scenario. Long term ADE still seems like the best option to me because then almost eveyone is reliant on big pharma.

    We also know from studying war that a maimed enemy can be even more problematic than a dead one. The maimed need resources devoted to them. Those resources must be taken away from the war effort. A similar thing might be going on. Make the country more and more dysfunctional. Maim the young and make them reliant on family and expensive medical care their entire lives. Now you essentially have an entire country that's easily invaded, enslaved or genocided.

    I'm not saying this is definitely the case. Just offering it as a conspiracy theory that's probably more sensible than assuming the vaxxes will just kill everybody who takes them.

    (Although it is a little interesting that the Chinese vaccines do not contain mRNA...)

    Even if you believe in no conspiracies at all, it's been openly acknowledged that COVID was used as an opportunity to push through policies that wouldn't have passed in a more stable environment. Lockdowns and mandates of various kinds have been normalized, and we'll see a lot more going forward.

    But then why are the essential workers the ones who are the most pressured to get vaxxed? Besides Pol Pot's Cambodia, I've never seen a regime trying to kill its own doctors and medical staff.

    Medical staff can be replaced by training part of the remaining population. It's not that difficult to get an undergraduate degree in Nursing. The real problem would be trying to replace neurologists, cardiologists, anesthesiologists, otolaryngologists, and so on.

    Maybe they have lists of "happily compliant" who get placebo and "resistor" who get the vaxx.
