Can't really add anything except to be careful about what sort of event you attend and to remove anything (earrings etc.) that might get damaged (or damage you) in the event of a tussle. Telling people where you are going, having money for a phone call and a number for a lawyer might also be useful.

Mark Collett has also written about the elements which make up a successful action. Sadly I can't find it but these two videos may cover the same topic. If not, I'll take them down.
