[–]Blackbrownfreestuff[S] 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (9 children)

But if you had to pick one, which one?

I wouldn't pick one

What will you do when scanning a covidpass is required to have your power and water turmed on or to buy groceries?

He probably wouldn't go and get a vaccine in that scenario

Whats your plan then? You didnt answer my question. What will you do when that happens. No vaccine, got it, but what then?

Some thoughts:

  • Stockpile food / grow food

  • Stockpile water / rainwater catchment / well / water filter

  • Solar panels for electricity

These are the things we need to be thinking about. If you can be forced to take a vaccine or else your utilities will be turned off, rest assured that's not the last thing you'll be forced to do.

Everyone should be able to live for a month without leaving home. Food, fuel, & water. That's saved my ass so many times when it floods here or whatever comes up. It's just a good practice. And fuel isn't just for your car, what's the point of having tubers, beans, etc. if you don't have the fuel to spend hours cooking them?

grow food

I love gardening, but you need a lot of light for most things you want to eat. I also don't have nearly enough room even if I had enough light. If you can grow food and you're not, you should start. Pests, animal life, and disease are an issue too, things we like to eat, so does a lot of other stuff. Better have that sorted out too.

Solar panels for electricity

I think I'd want a generator that could run biodiesel instead. Solar panels are pretty vulnerable, need batteries, and they're relatively weak. Also it's technology you might not be able to maintain.

water filter

Especially filters, I agree with the other water options too, and I'd also suggest learning how to construct a natural filter from sand and rocks. And bleach, which can be used to sterilize water in a pinch. Don't get non-splash bleach, has extra crap in there.

You already needed to wear the retard mask to enter any building, so the only way to get groceries was through Instacart. Perhaps there are other services too, but you basically need someone who will wear the mask for you.

The vax is a little more iffy, because then you don't want much contact with the contaminated deliverer.

Gloving up to go through groceries sounds like a pain in the ass to avoid it, but is sort of an option. Maintaining a little bit of exposure would keep resistances up against it, theoretically, since you would be exposed in smaller amounts and able to build as you go with immune response.
