Have you seen this?

https://anonfiles.com/x9FfV0Aap0

It has useful links such as

https://sigup.net/

/Sig/ answers at least some of your questions.

[–]Ponderer[S] 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Thanks. That Sigup link is excellent, as are many of the links it offers. I've already spent a few hours reading through them, I'll have to do some full write-ups later.

I think one of the main issues we face today is the poor distribution of useful information. I've been interested in self-improvement topics for years, and always found /sig/ generals useful, but only today have I been made aware of https://sigup.net and the other downstream sites and only because you linked it.

On the other hand, another issue I'd like to get around is information overload. Too few links is a huge problem, but too many links isn't much better. If someone wants to improve, simply handing him 2 dozen links of questionable veracity and often dealing with overlapping content can be confusing. It's best to give him just one, the best one.

So ideally I'd like to sift through this, find the most useful information, and collate it into a unified, comprehensive, and authoritative guide that can be distributed everywhere.

How to how to find friends who are on the same wavelength as you (who are relatively normal people and not crazy or glowies)

Probably this.

Boycotting companies can't be successful, when the government can just print out a billion dollars tomorrow and hand it to them. cough Jeff Bezos

[–]Ponderer[S] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (11 children)

Thanks, that's one of the guides I wanted to write first as well.

Boycotting companies can't be successful, when the government can just print out a billion dollars tomorrow and hand it to them.

I partially agree. I think that if every right-winger boycotted all of the companies that hate him, several would go under; but many companies would still be around, just far smaller.

So really, what matters more than boycotting bad companies is contributing to good ones. Ideally, I'd like to write guides on how to supply almost everything locally (or nationally) from family-owned businesses and individuals. This could dovetail with other guides, possibly intended for a broader audience, that could start building a new culture from the ground up.

I'm envisioning articles covering everything from movies, to music, to fashion, to home decor, to hobbies, to housing and transportation. Once things get that integrated, you're not just dealing with dissidents, but with regular people who can start participating in a culture that's healthier than the mainstream.

Just fyi, the guy you're talking to is likely an infiltrator that has been using our sub to learn how to copy our discourse and blend in.

How so? Thanks for the heads-up regardless.

This is why private groups (IRCs, Element etc) are better than public forums in some ways; you can control who gets to see and engage with content.

Although if they aren't both active and focused on some goal, private groups will usually spiral into glorified water-coolers or internet drama.

Greg Johnson wrote a series of articles about how he organized a successful meet-up IRL. They are on Counter Currents somewhere:

There are also explicit white nationalist groups such as The Mannerbund and Mark Collet's UK based Patriotic Alternative.

How to get involved IRL would make a worthwhile subject for a separate post.

[–]Ponderer[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Do you have a link for that meet-up article?

How to get involved IRL would make a worthwhile subject for a separate post.

This is a bit more generic, but I'd be interested in your feedback: https://saidit.net/s/debatealtright/comments/8bwc/guide_to_attending_rallies_protests_and/

[–]Jacinda 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Here's the article I was referring to. I am sure there are more on the site.

Counter Currents:

So you’ve found a local group of people. Now what do you do? To answer that, ask yourself what all of you have in common. First, you share political convictions. Second, you have a desire to socialize with like-minded people. Not everyone is there to engage in activism. Not everyone is there to debate fundamental ideas about political ideology. And if you press the group in these directions, it will dissolve.

Thus, the first lesson for both activists and ideologues is not to try to refashion the group in terms of your interests; instead you should think of the group as a place to find and recruit people who share your particular interests; if you treat it as an opportunity to meet new people, you have a stake in the group’s continued existence.

So how do you keep the group alive and make it flourish? If you are not going to engage in activism or debate about Evola and Norse paganism, what will you do? [Cont...]

Greg has also posted about IRL security and dealing with being doxxed; both things he has had experience with.

Thanks for the article about attending protests IRL. Can't really add anything except to be careful about what sort of event you attend and to remove anything (earrings etc.) that might get damaged in the event of a tussle. Telling people where you are going, having money for a phone call and a number for a lawyer might also be useful. I'll add these comments to your thread.

Or, maybe he’s just someone that used to be a liberal & then changed his mind… ?

How many of us could claim to be ‘dissident right’ before, say, 2015, or from birth? I’m betting unless you were lucky enough to have Fascist parents, then probably not many… Stop being so paranoid mate.

When he first arrived six months ago he was hostile right off the bat. He only made himself seemingly more tolerable in recent times, following the general path that Soylent, and perhaps Salos, took earlier. Unless this guy genuinely shifted this year, he's still a 'normie'. There are, of course, numerous reasons why outsiders would interact in the long-term with such communities. Masters/Doctorate students whose theses/dissertations are on 'Right-wing radicalism'. 'Antifascist' or 'antiracist' researchers working with groups like the ADL/SPLC. Academics gathering information to publish their work in obscure journals and edited books, to raise their chances of promotion. And, of course, the usual Feds and JIDF straight from places like Tel Aviv and Quantico.

He had clearly internalized Leftism to an extreme degree when he first arrived. Do you think these are the words of someone who isn't a normie?

Racial identity is indeed stupid. Recall the system of slavery condemned human beings to a generation of suffering, only because they were born the wrong skin color. Or we have people arguing in this thread blaming third world people for being naturally inferior. If human beings continue to mix with other groups, like has always been the case throughout history (i.e neanderthals and humans mated and took their genes) then race becomes a useless construct.

Who seriously argues things like the below other than Leftists?

Despite being hell on earth, one thing Brazil did better than other European countries is they didn't push aggressive racism once the slaves were freed.

Huh? Brazil is 'hell on earth' precisely because the 'slaves' and natives are the overwhelming majority of the population. America will also be 'hell on Earth' when people whose race is the same as the natives (Hispanics), 'slaves' (blacks) and all of these other groups are also a clear majority.

When the media prefers to show the worst parts of the third world, it creates a self perpetuating image that they have no hope or that they can't look after themselves.

Yeah, the media is totally racist and White supremacist, man... seriously? Maybe he's exposed to too many of those 'donate to Ngubu' advertisements in which they do something like this in order to persuade idiots to send money. It's a trick. Notice how they also always use sad music in such advertisements?

Fast forward six months. Now he says things like:

If America is to recover, then it needs to be made 80% White again. Anything else, and we just end with a Neo-Brazil.

People change their minds

Again, were you always a Nationalist? Was there not a point in time where your opinions shifted? Should I call you a fed/Jew/shill if you weren’t a Nationalist from birth?

The guy used to be a liberal-conservative type, now he’s came round to our way of thinking. As have many of us. You should be encouraging people like him, not trying to gatekeep.

Again, were you always a Nationalist?

I never went through any other phases. I am, have always been since being 'political', and always will be, 'Far-Right'.

Was there not a point in time where your opinions shifted?

If you mean totally outside of the 'Far-Right', no way.

The guy used to be a liberal-conservative type, now he’s came round to our way of thinking.

I highly doubt that.

So did your parents teach you about politics, or did you stumble across a mein kamp copy when you were like 8?

That’s great that you had that experience but you should understand you’re in the extreme minority. Most folk here have only been nationalists since 2015 at the earliest with Trump, Brexit etc. Most went through some sort of (blank) ——> (far right) pipeline with many steps in between. It didn’t happen overnight.

I think the first 'guide' we need to write and promote is how to get explicitly and implicity pro white people together into a real political party and/or protest movement. It's so much easier to do other things after you have a tribe. Right now we are still pretty atomized.

Absolutely.

Other than the guide on how to meet people IRL, I want to write one specifically for online organizing. A thread I plan to make here will be called something like "Mapping the Online Diaspora" and will go over this in a preliminary manner.

There is a tremendous amount of activity in online dissident spaces. It just needs to be organized and focused towards some particular goal.

[–]send_nasty_stuffNational Socialist 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Hit me up if you need any input when you're putting this together.

Thanks for the offer. I would definitely like your help going forward.

Here's the post. It's not the cleanest or most comprehensive, but let me know what you think: https://saidit.net/s/debatealtright/comments/8bh1/mapping_the_online_dissident_diaspora/

How to identify companies to boycott, as well as upstanding local and small businesses to support

There's this app that scans UPC codes https://www.buycott.com/

[–]Ponderer[S] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

That's a great resource!

It's too bad most of the campaigns are developed by far-lefties, but maybe it could be useful to buy stuff that it recommends against.

Edit: although use your best judgment; whoever made one campaign somehow thinks Nike and Starbucks are "Trump-supporting" companies.

A general guide to activism, both online and offline;

I remember coming across some organized information about power mapping, not sure if any of these are it but they seem similar.

Thanks, power mapping is a great concept to be aware of. Too many people who put on protests and events don't understand it, and end up accomplishing very little as a result.

You may also want to read this article, and basically everything else written by this guy: https://status451.com/2017/11/11/radical-book-club-what-righties-can-do/
