Will this have any real impact in hiring/firing decisions for positions that matter?

Sure: there will be the required 2-hour brainwashing training sessions, also a few "inclusion/diversity/equity" positions that draw 6-figure salaries, absorbing some budget that could have gone elsewhere (drop in the bucket compared to overall revenue). But for the average employee who has real skills, will it matter much in the long run?

Yes, these training programs are a window into the ideology and will of the corporate regimes, which are currently hiring, promoting, and giving fake jobs to minorities. They also have "supplier diversity" which seeks to deny business to any white male owned vendors whenever possible.
