Thanks for the response - which at least offers some form of explanation.

The problem is that - regardless of who started the war, who supported the war, and the many other circumstances of the war - the tragic deaths of people in the bombing has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with any of it, nor does it warrant this: "Marines die in the gayest way possible." What explains that kind of comment? Nothing that I know of.

Moreover - ISIS said they planted the bomb. Which countries supported ISIS in Syria and the region in recent years? Did you know that the US and Israel partially supported them with weapon supplies and that Isreal and Lebanon arranged for the purchase of priceless artefacts from them? Should ISIS be exterminated? Should those who support ISIS be exterminated? Should those who make comments like - Marines die in the gayest way possible - be exterminated? What do you think? I'm obviously wanting all of these people to be dealt with appropriately.

The Marines and the allies have not died in vain, and have supported a better way of life for Afghanis for 20 years.

Is this a troll or are you drunk? "The Marines and the allies have not died in vain, and have supported a better way of life for Afghanis for 20 years."

That statement is factually untrue. The military industrial complex turned Afghanistan into one giant fucking grift. Every facet of the puppet government was rife with corruption/crime and that corruption spilled out into the general public and became the largest industry in the country. In addition, only a very small minority of Afghanis wanted to promote and legalize the values of Globohomo: homosexuality and transgenderism. I'm sure all the Afghani widows and orphans are really thankful the marines stayed for 20 years to create, "A better way of life for Afghanis."

Yes - of course there were problems - which are unavoidable in that part of the world. The Allies were there for a relatively limited purpose. There were some benefits to their presence, which don't bear mentioning here, especially in light of your cherry-picking superfluous concerns like 'Globohomo' which isn't in the vocabulary or interest of most people, especially in Afghanistan. This topic of Middle East geopolitics is obviously not your specialism.

You decline naming those benefits because they don't exist.

That's right, our military mission was destined to fail once it switched from the destruction of Al-Qaeda and the Taliban to so-called, "Nation Building." As you said yourself, (I'll paraphrase) very few Afghanis have shared cultural interests with the West.

This topic of Middle East geopolitics is obviously not your specialism.

Are you ESL?

Again - you've not bothered to check on your claims. Do you do this often - merely state whatever you want without any concern for the facts? If you use an internet search app to find the information, you'd know that the lives of women improved substantially in 20 years, and that your tax dollars paid for billions in reconstruction source. There were many additional benefits. And of course there were problems. That was not unexpected in that region. See also this.

WIKIPEDIA and Brookings Institute as sources! Oh my god you must be right! Why didn't I think to google the all-knowing and always right WIKIPEDIA and the totally not corporate paid-for Brookings Institute?

This guy really comes at it from all angles too. In a response to me earlier he was trying to appeal to the idea that Israel supports ISIS to gin up some type of outrage about the Kabul bombing and now with you he's citing brookings institute data -- one of the largest and most well funded neocon think tanks in America -- as evidence for the positive aspects of the Afghani war. Very slimy behaviour.

So what? Check their sources or do your own search, if you're genuinely curious (though I doubt you are). I'm merely helping you with source material, which is probably a bad idea.

You don't even recognize how much of a shill you are. It's like an alcoholic trying to explain why being an alcoholic isn't a bad thing.

Bullshit #3. (You're trying too hard to troll through my post history and insult me. It's moronic. Get a life.)

Naw, I find active threads through s/comments and I see your shit there more than most folks.

Is it my fault for remembering what I've read?

So you reference the most biased, extreme right-wing disinformation propaganda website available?

Think for a second about your sources: https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/rense/

Are you so stupid that you cannot determine for yourself that Rense posts primarily extreme right-wing disinformation? Nothing funny about that site. It's there solely for the purpose of helping the 1% fuck over the 99%, one of whom is probably you.

Did you even look at the date on that article you fucking retard? When these wars started the right-wing was all about them. The right-wing has historically supported ALL the wars.
