Hitler a successful leader? He was a tyrant to his own people who from 1941 committed a long series of blunders that doomed Germany. While Churchill and friends are no less repugnant to Mez as they are indeed likely more repugnant t to me, anyone who knows anything about the German perspective of ww2 knows Hitler was a moral and military failure.

Conversely, Franco successfully won the Spanish war, stopped the communist leftist tables and modernized Spain....

Franco was opportunistic and abandoned Fascism/Falangism after it became inconvenient. Hitler made harmful choices yes, but much of that was out of desperation and having some untrustworthy and moronic characters advising him and politically maneuvering around him.
