Two thirds of those sources are peer-reviewed papers from the scholarly literature.

Alt Hype or Sean Last probably have decent posts about this, from them you should be able to find studies, its a few years ago since I looked into this subject but there is nothing new under the sun

The quality of their work is better and they do meta analysis of studies

Higher IQ, take into account more variables, better at math etc.
