          The offender’s prison sentence of three years imprisonment for aggravated sexual abuse of a child was upheld.

          If google can be trusted in this instance, this was the case that caused them to update their laws so they could prosecute sex with a minor without violence as rape, instead of just aggravated sexual abuse of a child.

          Previous to that case, if a child consented or violence couldn't be proved, they could only charge with aggravated sexual abuse of a child.

          That case led to changes in the law removing the need to prove violence when a minor was sexually abused, and now rape would be another charge too. Btw, he spent 3 years in prison for that.
