The reality remains that Denmark, like all divisions within Europe, exists because of a political reality, not because of a genetic one. The social construct of Denmark, forged by political history, came before the genetic classification of Danes. As I said, it's just as possible that the land of Europe you reside in could have simply been Swedes or Germans due to historical factors and genetic tests wouldn't find there's some secret unique group with no name hidden there, you'd just be part of their population group. In the same way if Denmark had 2 states dividing it, you'd be arguing that you are something entirely different essentially to those Danes that you are right now saying you are one identical people with. Are North and South Koreans genetically completely different things because of a political division between their nation 80 years ago? Do their genetics magically become one group again if they reunify?
