Who rules Afghanistan has about as much interest to me as the daily weather patterns on the Martian surface. If the Taliban rule, good luck to them. Time will tell if they become an anti-Imperialist and actually Nationalist force like Hezbollah, Iran or Assad or merely serve as another puppet regime but their actions seem to indicate the former so far.

There are White people in Afghanistan though.

Not really. There's certain caucazoid but isolated tribes which have many superficial European qualities -- in fact there's many groups like that in the Middle East -- but they're still genetically distinct from Europeans. They're beautiful to look at -- I could pore over the photos from the certain tribes for hours -- but they're still not my people.

Saying they're 'White people' is the same as saying Jews are White people. Sure they share some ancestry and many superficial qualities with us but they're still a distinct, Middle Eastern people with their own history, religion and identity which is not mine. The same goes for those small amount of Afghanis.

I detest the Varg Vikernes mentality of determining race on the basis of phenotype; Europeans have various historical achievements and cultural attributes they could base their pride on instead. It is odd for some esoteric nationalists to identify with various Iranic and Indic groups due to a cultural/genetic link that is thousands of years old, when what arguably differentiates Europeans from others developed much later in the Middle Ages.

But they're not even the worse offenders. Some Indians seem desperate to associate themselves with Europe when even Obama is more European than them. You don't see the same sort of mentality with Iranic peoples despite their greater genetic affinity, but they have a certain thing that some Indians lack: pride.

When I observe Pakistani-Indian disputes, Pakistani nationalists boast of their aesthetic superiority while Indian nationalists fantasize about colonizing Pakistani women and girls.
