Can we do something about the obvious trolls?

We only have a few dozen participants left in this community, down from thousands in its peak and its slowly being taken over by obvious trolls. We need a pogrum.

Radicalcentrist - started out as intentionally obtuse liberal and is now pretending to be one of us

Shalom - pretending to be a jewish supremacist, the most obvious troll in the history of trolls

Republican58/ayatollasiniran - troll who followed us from reddit, a male who pretended to be british female actress

Socks - got banned but invited back for some reason

Valkaryia1488 - the bad attempt at trolling, pretended to be a lesbian who wants to be altright.

I'm all for having opposing views on our debate sub, but these arent opposing views, these users are just clowning on our small community. Who did I miss?

Gotta say a word in defence of centrist and socks -- the rest of them on your list can go kick rocks if you'll excuse my French! Centrist may just have come around to our ideas. He's an odd duck but he contributes a lot to the sub so fair play to the man.

Also Socks is a very low-tier and rather dull liberal but that's just who he is. I don't think he's trolling that's just literally who he is. I've known a hundred 'socks' in my life and they all think in the exact same way but they're not faking it.

Radicalcentrist didn't come around to our ideas. He flipped a switch on his user personality for reasons we dont know. Yes, his pretend altright personality posts are good.

Except you have no interest in correcting your defective reasoning.

This is the Republican58 cycle:

  • post Trumptard talking points to incite conflict

  • engage with basic comments and low-tier retorts

  • get completely refuted by admirable individuals taking you seriously

  • proceed to ghost

This is why many believe you to be a troll. The alternative is that you are a stubborn blockhead with no care for your reputation in this small community.

    Republican58 was banned for a week.

    Valkaria1488 hasn't really participated much and probably will be banned if he continues.

    You might not notice as a user but we have banned quite a few trolls. (daddiescummies was recently banned for example)

    Please use report button. It doesn't mean the person will instantly be banned but it helps gather examples so we're confident banning the person and know their patterns if they try to pop up again under a different name.

    We've been told from admin that if we don't allow outsiders to engage we will be removed again from the s/all feed. This means that the mods here are trying to bend over backwards to allow outside input even if we know they are borderline trolls. The issue isn't that we are struggling to identify, it's that we'd need to prove to saidit admin that they are trolls which can be a different thing to someone outside of our group. Hope that makes sense.

    Instabanning trolls was easier on reddit when we didn't have the same admin scrutiny and we had a near endless supply of naive but genuine leftists to engage with. Saidit is a different story though.

    Sure, can you explain why shalom hasn't been banned? I've never seen such obvious trolling in my life and she's been reported dozens of times.

    Shalom might just be genuinely stating the orthodox Jewish position on things which in a way is a troll (because jews troll goyim on a regular basis publicly) but in another way isn't a troll. Kind of a tough decision. If my other mods want to ban him I'm fine with it but I don't really see a clear rule violation.

    I'm not just going to ban a right wing jew for being a Jew. This is a debate sub.

    Even more difficult when the retard magnora completely ignores your bulletproof case and instead takes the side of jews literally attacking his website because he's a scared little baby that doesn't want to go against anyone who actually has power.

    I exposed the jews mega, loki, fschmidt etc months before they started trying to get this whole website taken down with their jewish bullshit. His response? He took their side and allowed them to fuck with his website and had the audacity to say that I was being censorious for not wanting them on the /s/fascism sub. Total moron.

    We also had bad faith users like DoubleReverse (legit) and AfricanAnger (troll) in the past. They simply went away with time (like fschmidt, who is also legit). Soylent made himself tolerable despite driving away some users early on.

    "Daddiescummies" looked legit to me upon a cursory glance, albeit a legit moron. Black, queer and Left, brain full of CRT and victimhood. That drivel already infests 99.9% of the internet. Mostly interacted with LGBdroptheT before having a chimpout here. Probably got here through s/all.

    Shalom only posted here for a while before branching out to s/politics and the account was made around the time that posting began. Seems like the account was created initially only for bad faith interaction with this community. Also, if we take him at face value, he's a literal Jewish supremacist, which seems statistically unlikely.

    Republican58's story is that he first came here from a link at patriots.win. Some people accused him of being Salos early on, which he strenuously denied. Why is he now suspected of being ayatollahsiniran?

    Salos, despite seemingly having all his posts removed by TAM, is probably still around. After all, he made numerous accounts to return here after prior bans, but without changing his name.

    He makes the similar error of the word "yous". Could be a coincidence, but two troll users with the same language are suspect.

    Since we are correct, opposing views will tend to appear clownish to us. What matters is what a casual visitor sees. It would be better for that person to see "obvious trolls" (aka people operating from the prevailing moral framework) getting deservedly refuted, than to see us celebrating the Trollerdammerung or whatever.
