Its very surprising to see such commentary in a magazine like Tablet. The author accurately diagnoses the problems facing contemporary American society, and makes reasonable conclusions about what the end result will be.

He seems to be basing his views upon Charles Murrays book, and Robert Putnams book. They both address the disintegration of American society from different angles: Murray talks about how far the Democrat and Republican states have drifted apart in their lifestyles and values, while Putnam discusses the atomisation of the American people and how transient their social networks are.

The author recognises how intensely polarized the U.S. is, and how there is no signs of this abating. The Left may have won the culture war, but they have not managed to subdue the Right. The things that are valued by the Left have been rejected by the Right, so unless there is an actual war, the issue will not be settled. The country will remained divided and polarized, and the chaos will not end.

Elites want to preserve themselves and don't want to rock the boat too much. The jewish oligarchy might hate white people, but they don't want to go Haiti or Zimbabwe. In the end elites want a relatively stable country that slowly changes in their direction and the current trend is rapid destabilization.

Immigration is being reduced by Biden, he is investing in programs that benefit ordinary americans while antifa and BLM have been told to stand down. The elites want to calm things down and boil the frog slowly.

What makes you think that Biden is tamping down on immigration? Or that he is helping the American people?
