The bold-heavy comment is not very persuasive. How does this "fully awakened base" arise out an appeased yet demoralized people? What does step five even mean? He's already the head of the party.

It's difficult to address any of this because it's so convoluted. There's nothing being built there, it's just "we'll show them who's good and honest" fantasy.

None of this shit matters to people who use politics as a lottery ticket.

The "rightwing" unfortunately includes Hannity/limbaugh following morons. A lot of the boomertards that originally supported him are true believers in a MAGA cult. They believe that American prosperity can restored by defeating China, the real racists, and imaginary socialism.
