What is the purpose of schools & degrees, if intelligence was only "subjective"?

This post is a bit of a reaction to some constant claims made against intelligence and IQ Testing.

I've seen it argued that intelligence is impossible to measure, or that the entire concept is open to interpretation. But this also becomes puzzling, because the same people who downplay intelligence will also demand that "we just need to give kids better education" or "fund better schools" to somehow remove all the wealth gaps in society.

And while education can fix certain issues (i.e educating people on the dangers of smoking or teen pregnancy), it's a gross misrepresentation to teach that education will personally improves someone's mental ability to process information faster.

Take Math Class. Everyone on this board had to have done this once. But just because a teacher can write numbers on a chalkboard, doesn't mean every kid in the class can do the same.

That's exactly what a Math Test is for. Kids who score 100% in Math are indeed superior to the kid who failed it. It would not be wrong to say those who failed Math, will struggle with Math related careers.

Like take an Engineer. Would you really trust an Adult who doesn't even know 1+1 = 2, to construct a skyscraper meant to house thousands of people? Not only is that a bad idea, but it also puts millions of lives in danger, since a badly built tower can come crashing down and kill everyone inside.

Or what about a Doctor or Surgeon? If someone where to cut open your chest and reconnect your arteries, would you trust a complete idiot who doesn't know human anatomy, or would you trust someone who has years experience performing on people and understands the risks of cutting the wrong organ?

These are real world examples that intelligence exists. Just dropping someone into school for 12 years will not make them the next Steve Jobs or Elon Musk. It implies that school has some magic powers to make you smarter than you think you are, but why can't we do this with other animals?

Would a dog, seagull or even a hamster that spent 1 year in a University become magically smarter? Could a Hamster become a doctor just because we print out a degree that says they're one? No, they are physically limited by their own intelligence that makes it impossible.

The purpose of higher education is learning, job training, job certification, job networking and recruitment into a higher social class or elite society. It doesn't make you smarter, but it can improve your ability to learn and discipline by keeping a schedule, time management and balancing difficult curriculum with a social life and/or part time job.

The irony is that most people forget the vast majority of knowledge they have learned in college. It makes you wonder if the job should come first or college and job recruitment should be more tightly integrated together. It seems unfair to spend years in college to learn that almost everything you learned was useless at the job that your degree is for. Almost everyone at high IQ professions are looking through reference books and not talmudic scholars that can recall every piece of knowledge in college. Also, many general practitioners are just glorified google search engines. A mid wit without college education could do that job.

The leftish presupposition is that all people are equally able to be intelligent if trained/educated properly. Or at least, all races are equally capable. Therefore we must equalize or attempt to equalize educational attainment between groups

Leftists dislike IQ tests because they suggest that people can be classified as superior/inferior to others. This causes them emotional anguish due to their oversocialization and low self-esteem. They dismiss IQ tests as illegitimate because they are morally repugnant, not because they have a good rational reason for doing it (but theyll try to make up reasons to pretend their rationale isn't just emotive)

18 ...More importantly, the leftist hates science and rationality because they classify certain beliefs as true (i.e., successful, superior) and other beliefs as false (i.e., failed, inferior). The leftist’s feelings of inferiority run so deep that he cannot tolerate any classification of some things as successful or superior and other things as failed or inferior. This also underlies the rejection by many leftists of the concept of mental illness and of the utility of IQ tests. Leftists are antagonistic to genetic explanations of human abilities or behavior because such explanations tend to make some persons appear superior or inferior to others. Leftists prefer to give society the credit or blame for an individual’s ability or lack of it. Thus if a person is “inferior” it is not his fault, but society’s, because he has not been brought up properly.

Their example would only make sense... if they could show a single school where everyone scored well.

But as I explained to another user earlier today, we have data from the 1990s that shows even the Richest Blacks still did worse in school than the poorest Whites & Asians.

So it comes down to a point of insanity when someone says "we're all the same" but absolutely no data even supports it.

To try and make sense of leftism is to fundamentally misunderstand it. It's like religion or psychological coping mechanism, it doesn't require consistency

There's one more point I want to add.

There's another hidden danger to the denial of intelligence. Charles Murray dedicated his entire life research into pointing out that a dull population will demand more welfare from the government.

So the irony of asking for "better funded schools" is completely lost for naysayers. A smart & intelligent population will never ask for Billions in free handouts. They're smart enough to look after themselves and pursue their own lifegoals.

By treating smart people & dumb people as the exact same, it results in a dysgenic society. Dumb people will pop out more kids at a higher rate than smart people. The dumb kids will now go to school and fail all their classes. When that happens, they will either take on the shittiest jobs that pay minimum wage, join a life of crime, or live their life on welfare while popping out more dumb kids for the cycle to continue.

Basically all evidence shows the entire "liberal" multiracial utopian project is going to end in disaster
