For years, I have wondered how the taboo on talking about racial differences will collapse. Could one brave man break the logjam? Charles Murray gives it a try in his latest book, Facing Reality. I cheer the effort, and Dr. Murray has made powerful arguments, but much as I hope he succeeds, I think he will fail.

So, there you have it: Whites built a promising country. They thought they could manage a small number of blacks, but that small number of blacks became looming majorities of non-whites from everywhere, who are increasingly united in their contempt for whites. As Dr. Murray admits, whites are second-class citizens, but it would be terrible if they actually did something about it.

No thanks, Dr. Murray. I’m glad you wrote some interesting things about race and IQ and crime. But I am appalled to learn that you agree with the people whose ideas you oppose: In America, the real problem is white people.

I haven't read the book but I've read some reviews and essentially his book is trying to prevent any white collective advocacy. In other words he's saying 'stop doing this to the goyim or they'll become ebil nazis'. So much like that fat joweled Prager U 'intellectual' and her views on CRT, Steven Crowder and his channel and the entire left as well Murray's real aim is making sure Whites don't stand up as a group and say 'Enough!'.

Obviously I don't expect much from a Fellow at AEI but I am getting tired of the central mission of every single figure on the left or right being how to malign or contain White people.

Murray isn't approaching this subject honestly: He is acting like the ruling elites don't know the truth about race, when in fact they are all too aware of it. He is pretending that they are simply misinformed, instead of malicious and deceitful. Critical race theory may be promulgated by braindead SJWs (and other groups), but they are only following an agenda set by the elites.

The entire debate about race in the U.S. is fundamentally dishonest. Murray brings up many good points about differences between racial groups, and he handily debunks the facile notion of 'systemic racism.' But he still falls well short of the mark because he doesn't ever mention the Jews.

He never informs his audience that many of the elites are Jewish, or that they use critical race theory to create enmity between whites and blacks. As long as they are asking why whites make more money than blacks, they won't start asking why Jews make more money than all other racial groups.

JF talked about Murray the other day. I agree that he is increasingly irrelevant and out-of-touch. He just wrote a book a year or two ago where he said we need to abandon the concept of race entirely or something. Taylor seems on-point here
