John McAfee found dead, likely offed

McAfee was found dead, allegedly suicided in his cell in Catalonia facing extradition for tax evasion in the US. He made several references to the fact the state was after him and would not kill himself:

I am content in here. I have friends.

The food is good. All is well.

Know that if I hang myself, a la Epstein, it will be no fault of mine.

And again:

Getting subtle messages from U.S. officials saying, in effect: "We're coming for you McAfee! We're going to kill yourself". I got a tattoo today just in case. If I suicide myself, I didn't. I was whackd. Check my right arm.

Wonder what he knew or who made the call and why. McAfee has always been an interesting antihero to me, but hadn't been following him closely for the last year or so

It's so blatant, he has literally said on billions of occasions that he will not kill himself ever.

I wonder will they retract it in near future and say it was cardiac arrest or something. Everybody who knew anything about John knows this is bullshit.

Epstein was blatant as hell too. They don't care about subtlety anymore - but apparently, they don't need to

Whats the likely motivation for offing the guy? I only ask because I know very little about Mcaffee.

This incident reminds me of how close our system is to a Colombia or some other corrupt Latin American state. Imagine actually being self righteous about Russia 'killing journalists' when things like this and Epstein happen and the wheels of the system just keep rolling as if nothing ever happened.

If they did kill McAfee, it was probably to prevent him from releasing dirt he had on certain people/governments.

McAfee, along with another man, Jimmy Watson, also was charged in Manhattan federal court in March with an alleged “pump-and-dump” scheme that bought up large quantities of cheap cryptocurrency and then promoted them online with “false and misleading tweets” to jack up their market prices.

If that is a crime then they should head over to any of the million internet forums that exist where people promote any crypto. Those laws must be written like a knife cutting a strain of hair vertically.
