What country has racial identity as a major component of its politics or society? As far as I am aware, the only reference to race that you will find in world politics today is in regard to minority rights. North Korea is the only major exception that I can think of.

Is it really any surprise that ethno-nationalism is the norm across the world, and throughout history? Racial identity is critical to the formation and maintenance of nation states.
