Adding a few more, not all of which pertain to dissident talking points. Some like They Live otherwise left out because everyone should already links them.

Teacher--really great Slovakian film. Shows how bad life was like in the Eastern block. Highly recommended

Coraline (nothing really dissident right but I like it a lot) Cold in July--(same, just a good movie,;has good 80s feel to it) Die Welle and the after school specially the Wave. Sort of an own goal by the other side by despite its message both films inadvertently show that fascism works. The wave salute in the original is really silly but academic performance was enhanced among outcasts, troubled youth in the real life experiment these films are bases on. Die Welle shows how fearful the collective German consciousness is of ever allowing something like the third reich happening again, so bit of a black pill.

Wir Sind die Nacht (we are the night) looks cheesy but was actually resllygood.Although it starts out as some sort of o man hasting lipstick lesbains turned vampoires, the ending serves as a refutation of third wave feminism, validates traditional romanticism in a way you don't see coming.

Faults--really great psychological thriller. Will fuck you up. Nothing really dissident right about it though, or is there?

Gran Torino. Right winger Devon Stack did some commentary that I think was off in some respects burn help is eight that it is a boomer take in that he finds more in common with that Hmung kid than his own kids and grandkids. Still, I love some of the social commentary, eg that whither who trying to ingratiate himself to those black guys...

Motel Hell nothing dissident right but amusing 80s B movie horror/comedy

Mothers Day--panned by critics but actually really good. Case study in cognitive dissonance. Not really dissident right oriented but still interesting to me.

Big Fan. Of great interest to dissident right as it shows how pathetic sports fan lives vicariously through his team. As a Packers fan I have had a hard time reconciling my own fandom with how pathetic this buy is. Seeing him crouched in a fetal position, wearing a black players jersey like a woman's nightie prompted me to never wear a jersey again. Used to wear Fabre then later Rodgers and Clay Matthews jerseys. Never again.

Zero Charisma. Again, tangential to dissident right but I do think it can show what happens to men stuck with horrible single moms and no real male rope model.

  • Knives Out

A wealthy American patriarch disowns his family and makes out his will to a saintly Mexican immigrant. I Hated this movie for various reasons (I didn't like its tonal style) but friends enjoyed it. LIberal friends thought it was awesome that a white family got their comeuppance. Counter Currents published a review.

That movie was absolute horseshit. One does need to see it to understand what is going on though.

To be quite honest the uniform rave reviews (and having to listen to lilly white liberals say how much they loved it) was the most concerning thing for me — it made me realize that Westerners are so pragandized they are not going to stick up for themselves.

Oh yeah it is all transparent, including the junior grandson who was as unabashedly alt-right and made a subject of derision by buy day of some bizarre masturbatory masturbator study. It is a pretty ttansparent , hamfisted allegory for so-called whites privilege, if that level of wealth is typical for any but a small faction of whites. Really pissed me off.

I love how they made the lovely Cuban girl from BR 2049 the 'hispanic maid' as well as if that tall, leggy and entirely Spanish in ancestry lady is representative of that class of people. Sort of like the casting choices in Denial which is about the Lipstadt trial where they made Irving much uglier and cast Rachel Weiszz as that awful crone.

Simple propaganda still works.

Yeah she is rather lovely. She played Joi in Blade Runner 2049, another movie I highly recommend.

Yeah I know I mentioned the film in my response.
