The fire at the temple mount is worrying. The Jews have always wanted to get rid of that mosque so that they can build their third temple.

In Judaism, the construction of the temple is supposed to coincide with the destruction of Amalek, an undefined nation that is a historical enemy of Judea/Israel.

Its possible. Though Israel was founded by secular socialist Jews, the power has since passed into the hands of radical Jewish sects due to high birth rates.

They are no longer interested in the idea of a secular, Jewish socialist state in the desert. They want to fulfill the prophecies of the bible. The Yid Yinon plan and PNAC are the culmination of those desires.

A greater Jewish empire from the Nile to the Euphrates as per the prophecy of the bible. They also want to rebuild the third temple to trigger the arrival of the messiah.

Israel today is a different beast altogether from the Israel of 1967. Back then it was a secular ashkenazi society. Now its a religious and hyper nationalist Mizrahim society.

These cities arent "multi ethnic" so much as recently arrived Jews squatting on other people's land, and whatever indigenous arabs left over they havent been able to ethnically cleanse. I know they have a peace treaty, but isn't it bizarre the other Arab countries (i.e Egypt/Jordan/Syria) have never thought of invading Israel when there's civil unrest? All their wars have been when Israel was united at full strength.

It's similar to last year when the George Floyd riots were kicking off in the U.S, yet Russia & China didn't feel like moving the needle, even once.

The US would intervene to assist Israel. Jordan is weak and Syria is half dead from 10 years of civil war. Egypt is strong but it gets money from the US to stay quiet and its not really interested in the middle east anymore. Their ambitions are in North Africa and the mediterranean

Israel might use nukes but I doubt the US will use Nukes to defend Israel. Especially if the entire arab world gets together to invade at once.

I say if Israel has nukes let's see 'em. I'm getting more and more suspicious that nukes are the threat they say they are.

2 million deaths,the loss of over 100 warships, loss of tens of thousands of aircraft and wholesale firebombing of Japan couldn't convince the Japanese leadership to surrender. Two nuclear bombs did. And those were merely 14 kt bombs. Modern submarine launched ballistic missiles like the Trident can carry 8 warheads clocking in at 200-400kt.

I'm thinking of the Six Day War but in reverse. The Arabs quickly move in and capture Jerusalem before the first U.S Aircraft Carrier arrives. They would have two bartering chips to prevent all out war:

  1. The Temple Mount
  2. The Suez Canal

The arabs are simply too incompetent and weak to do anything like that. The Israeli army has one thousand tanks and numbers as high as 130,000 men. They probably have about 12 active combat brigades in the field. Due to the small size and high density of the population, they can most likely mobilize all their reserves and raise the number of combat brigades to 30 within a week. The Israeli air force is the strongest in the middle east with 217 4+ and 4++ gen US made jets and 23 F-35s.

If anything Israel can take half of Jordan and Syria in a blitzkrieg if they had the stomach to take thousands of casualties.

As for the US, there are US carrier srike groups in the mediterranean and Indian ocean who could rush there within a few days. Plus the US has a large air component in Saudi Arabia which can easily strike Jordan. There's also a large air component in Cyprus from where the US and UK could assist with strikes and combat air patrol.

I wonder how some of the people here who are cheering for the worst would feel if they were watching a livestream of millions of innocent jewish women and children being engulfed by an apocalyptic firestorm. You should be ashamed of yourself if you support the violence. You people have never seen the horrors of war, it's disgusting and cowardly to be laughing at other peoples' misery.

I'm not cheering for the worst. In the end it will be the Palestinians that suffer the most, as it always is. I notice you didnt even mention their far worse suffering.

Also, maybe you missed the mass riots and arson that broke out in the US all last year, while Jewish dominated media outlets stoked up more violence and spread conspiracy theories about white privilege while demonizing people for being white. We saw people pulled out of cars and beaten. People mobbed and kicked on the ground until they were unconscious. Cities facing nightly riots for MONTHS, with Jewish owned propaganda sites like reddit praising not only that violence, but proudly displaying videos of whites being beaten for perceived slights that are 1/10th of the shit Israelis routinely do to Palestinians. Reddit is full of comments laughing at and cheering on those peoples misery, and people like you probably never said a word about it.
