I'm just worried that the French deep state will purge the army or threaten the family of officers. Its not a wise move to televise your intention to do a coup. I recall reading in the guardian that Melenchon openly vowed to purge the army of dissident elements should he become President

This is an anonymous letter, there isn't even a way to know for sure that 2000 soldiers actually signed it.

If France flips to our side Italy and Spain will probably follow soon. The Spanish right is getting more and more based lately. Maybe the Swedes too. Combine that with Germany going full-retard with the far-left Greens and we will have a scenario where the EU will simply cease to function.

Let's also remember that war in Europe is not off the table, it is in fact quite likely in the next 10-20 years provided NATO unravels. Just look at the vitriol directed at the UK after Brexit. The same thing could easily happen to France in case of a right-wing takeover. A major war has been overdue for Europe for quite some time. A right-wing Latin+Slavic axis could be used to take over the entire continent, we all know France is by far the strongest continental power militarily (also a nuclear one) and that Germany is pathetically weak and unwilling to fight for anything. Add in the Russia factor and German insanity would stand no chance unless America intervened (which it wouldn't).

I sincerely hope you're wrong. We can not have another brother war.

It would be great if I am wrong but I honestly don't see a peaceful solution to our current problems. Ideally, there will be no brother war, but a war against the invaders and our coopted governments. The problem is a huge chunk of Europeans seem not only to think the great replacement is fine, but they are also actively working to advance it and have made it their main political goal. Germany is especially concerning to me, I have a feeling that the German left-wing is particularly dangerous and fanatical. Still not as bad as America though.

That percentage is much smaller than you think.

It's the French. They'll do it anyway and still fail.
