Gazi Kodzo is well-known on the DR for, among other things, 'debating' Mark Collett.     I don't know about the surrounding events but Kodzo himself is deadly serious. This isn't an act he's just a typically insane Afrocentric lunatic who believes every single thing he says.

      Did they actually purchase the land or did they just go up there and pose for social media up-votes?

      Edit: Anglin's article is mostly copied from RT but his take is as funny as always.
