"Britain had arguably assumed its nationhood by at least the late 19th century. At this point in time, the make up of the British population was largely as it had been more than 1000 years earlier. There is therefore little justification for saying that Britain is an ‘immigrant nation’."

Britain became an immigrant nation when it's elites handed the nation over to international high finance. As will any nation who does such a foolish thing.

That's a good question. I'd say they were trending towards it for a long time. They are use to being ruled by a foreign elite. Look at the Normans. There's a couple of critical moments when it specifically swang toward the Jews though. In 1186 at his death Aaron Lincoln (Jew) became the richest man in England. He did it because Jews were given free reign by British elites to charge outrages interest and basically rape the English countryside with usury. Read this excerpt from A History of Central Banking by Goodson. Then industrialization gave enormous power to financiers (and many of the aristocrats in England lost their shirt; conveniently it was most likely the ones that had a protective bent towards native British; therefore this was a slow purge of elites that cared about British people).

My best guess when England loss full independence though would be when Rothschild cornered the market after Napoleons defeat at Waterloo. So much British wealth was moved into Jewish hands. It bankrupted many British elites. Churchill's family being one of them (and we all know how that turned out). That event was key. As was the obscene wealth obtained during the opium wars. 300 families (a huge bulk of them Jews) made the equivalent of billions of dollars EACH in that bloody excursion only made possible with the military, tax dollars and blood of the British navy.

Another angle is that Jews convinced the British of both liberalism and socialism as coherent systems to run a society. This helped cement Jewish control over the people. The Fabian Society is worth looking into.

There was also an enourmous transfer of wealth from the British government to 'slave holders' (mostly Jews). When the British empire ended slavery. Something like a 1/3 of the entire wealth of the crown was given to these Jewish slave trafficking families.
