I am not sure about that. Here in the states imagery and messaging about interracial couplings are pervasive. When I lived in Germany I was shocked at how much of that I saw, not just in advertising but also with real life German women going with black guys.

Why the hostility? I saw it much more than I did in the 90s, among either things relating Americanization and globalism in Germany.
