So, the ruling Merkelist coalition has deliberately chosen to implode its own election prospects by picking a horrible, incompetent, and unpopular candidate to run for chancellor, and now their poll numbers have tanked to ~20 percent, with the Greens rising to first place at about ~25-30 percent support. Many on the right see this as an act of Sabotage by Merkel, who has always been a leftist and radical liberal who has changed the once fairly based Christian Democrats beyond recognition. The German mainstream has been drifting slowly towards the left since Merkel became chancellor, and that has wildly accelerated recently, especially after Covid saved Merkel's government and gave another pretext for the regime to crack down on dissidents. Right now, the most likely scenario seems like an unmitigated leftist/woke red-red-green coalition, or maybe a traffic-light coalition including the liberals.

The Green party is the main representative of the woke and rabidly globalist, pro-American, and russophobic faction of the German establishment. Their program is basically a call to abolish Germany as it has existed in the past century (although that process has already been underway for some time, this represents an acceleration), by dismantling the national industry, massively increasing refugee intake and writing US-style SJW concepts into law. Our (probable) future chancellor is a 40-something neolib SJW woman obsessed with massive immigration called Annalena Baerbock. Despite her terrible politics, she is a friendly face who attracts lots of young people and many see her as a "breath of fresh air". Her chancellorship is likely to be a disaster, especially given the fact that she is naive, inexperienced, and likely incompetent.

The overwhelmingly anti-Russian and pro-US mainstream media is exultant about the prospect of a Green-led government. It would be the best-case scenario for the US regime and the worst for Russia and German sovereignty since the Greens are the main advocates for killing the NordStream pipeline that would make German and Russian interests more interlinked.

The sad thing is there is nothing the vast majority of people here can feasibly do. Just pray if this bitch gets into office and fucking bombs it forcing a snap election that kills any chance the green race traitors have of ever entering office. RPG made a video about this, his theory was that Laschet was chosen because he has a lot of connections and so and so. I can't fathom why merkel would do this do. She herself took more positive stance towards Russia and became more skeptical of the US.

        Citation needed on that. In Australia at least the Greens are the party of bourgeois liberals who are obsessed with mass migration and SJW issues.         If the Greens came into power, it would be a disaster for Germany. They would cancel the NordSteam pipeline and ruin relations with Russia, making them dependent on Middle Eastern oil. They would de-industrialise Germany and ship all the manufacturing jobs to China, making them a post industrial wasteland like the U.S. rust belt states.
