Ethiopian Jews are nothing more than window dressing. A small token gesture used to shield Israel from accusations of being a racist apartheid regime, which you are unironically attempting to do right now, apparently either forgetting who you are talking to, or too stupid to care.

They only make up 1.5% of the Israeli population, and being that they are the only blacks in Israel, stick out like a sore thumb and always will. Notice there isnt any blacklivesmatter movement in Israel involving them, because they know Israelis would never tolerate it and the entire nation would quietly make life completely unbearable for them if they ever even thought about pulling the shenanigans blacks in the US do. Also as they view themselves as Jewish and are indoctrinated into it from birth, they are taught to view such racial activism as the ultimate betrayal and literally breaking the rules of their religion.

BLM is more or less an American idea, so yeah, it's not something you can transplant right in the heart of Israel. But to say there is no civil rights movement in Israel is false. In fact, prior to the George Floyd incident in America, Israel was hit by protests for the alleged mistreatment of its black citizens.

Well, they are Jewish. But the same way Blacks are also American. But that doesn't mean society in both countries can it rear its ugly bias against both of them. Italians and Irish went through their own social stigma in the USA until they eventually gained widespread acceptance. The Blacks want something similar.
