They're separated from every other group of humans by about 200,000 years. Whites and Asians are about 40,000 years apart, IIRC. I remember someone in the old reddit DAR sub floating the idea that Africans were actually surviving descendants of homo Erectus, and that Aborigines were surviving descendants of Australopithecus. For both the skulls look virtually identical to their prehistoric counterparts.
