I always get INTJ-A too, Keith Woods did a poll and found an abundance of INTJs in his audience. I think MBTI is moreso what you have as ideals rather than how you actually are though and for 3/4 of the categories I'm very high in both, I don't really see how they're a dichotomy/spectrum. However, it's pretty obvious that people who are more introverted so they're more likely to spend time researching stuff on the internet; value objective, truth, rationality etc are very likely to be found amongst our circles.

INTJ and INTP is over-represented on the internet, search up any group, like bronys and you will see that they are disproportionally INTJ. FFM translation is: Very high openness, high conscientiousness, very low extroversion, low to mid agreeableness, mid to high neuroticism. It makes sense why it is over-represented on the internet, if your involved in a abnormal / atypical group (which is basically every subculture on the internet) your probably a very open person and would be low on "normie" traits like extroversion and agreeableness.

I will say though about Myers-briggs, is that while personality psychologist are rightfully skeptical I personally and many people I know consistently get nearly the same type of MBTI, when I do get differences it is usually only one letter. I see on the wikipedia page while they say it has low test-retest reliability they don't compare it to big 5 / FFM. Many psychologist like Joseph Henrich are skeptical of FFM and all personality tests, they claim they only reveal dispositional thinking and is a thing only whites / WEIRDS do. Im personally agnostic but lean for personality validty.

You will see headlines on the internet that "Stormfront is linked to a hundred murders" which actually means that some posters can be attributed to having committed a crime (by that logic facebook is linked to hundreds of thousands of murders), for a website that is 24 years and has millions of posts that is a disproportional low murder rate for a group of people, which implies they have traits of productive and virtuous traits people

While I don't agree with all of the basic ideas of SF, in general the communities hated by the general public are comprised of higher IQ individuals, which I believe explains why they are hated by the general public.

When I've taken MB I was INTJ and ISTP

Doesn't surprise me. I've only been on stormfont a handful of times - but internet forum posting-types are kinda similar everywhere. The media of course always gives anything pro-white a bad rap and stormfront just isn't nearly as vulgar or low-IQ as you'd expect. A surprising amount of people (and many women too) looking for relationships actually

Though this test appears to have pretty low test-retest reliability so I wouldn't dwell too much on it.

Yeah exactly

I did it yesterday and got INTP. The traits are surprisingly similar to mine own.

I feel that the three rare introvert types are what men originally used to be. It was probably the default state of man.

He was a thinker, fighter, honest without much complexity and only bonded with a handful of trusted people - his tribe. Humans spent most of their history living in small tribes of 100-150 and the brain evolved that way.

A human can only personally know about a 100-120 people and army companies are thus designed to contain that many troops. The major is thus able to know all his troops.

Man was not meant to be a shallow networker with hundreds of "friends" and no introspection.

I think millennia of civilization has domesticated man and created a host of shallow personality types that are good as slaves.

Its best seen in the wasps like brett kavanaugh. Brilliant in his field of work, a party animal but no introspection. Happy to take abuse from the left as long as he can get that bag and be at the cocktail parties.

Fellow INTJ or INTP Master Race checking in for duty.

(Seriously I hate those stupid tests and just did one after reading your post.)

Exactly. Why post it? The data is very close to meaningless.

Because it's not entirely meaningless. Given how the results look like, even with low reliability it would not differ that drastically if the same test was repeated few weeks later. Maybe it wouldn't be 42% again but this category would likely still be over represented.

From your source:

So if you retake the test after only a five-week gap, there's around a 50% chance that you will fall into a different personality category compared to the first time you took the test.

MBTI is harmful if taken seriously IMO.

is still vastly overrepresented compared to the 2% in the general population

You're not thinking about how the 2% statistic itself is likely wrong. Yes, it will still probably be overrepresented because of the fact introverts have a higher average IQ, and the IQ testing post I made a while back showed this community (or communities like it) have a higher average IQ.

What you're missing is the fact that MBTI itself has an unreliable foundation, and will have unreliable statistics related to it. Read about Carl Jung and his "collective unconscious" it's absolutely ridiculous. It is harmful overall if taken seriously.

That is interesting, when I took the tests I always got ENTJ or ENTP.
