IQ isn't the be all, end all of society. People shouldn't be caught up in Molyneux tier IQ essentialism.

Yet, compare the cultural, scientific and architectural output of France to Korea and Japan over the last 1000 years. They don't even come close to France, despite the fact that there are 170 million Japs and Koreans compared to a mere 51 million White French.

Japan modernized impressively fast and defeated Russia in 1905. Korea was a tributary state of China for a long time. East Asians still invented things like firearms. I realize France has more overall achievement than those two mentioned and conscientiousness is likely why that is as a study showed Europeans had higher conscientiousness than Asians:

Counter to past studies, the two groups were not significantly different on Agreeableness, and European Americans scored higher on Conscientiousness. The finding that European Americans score higher on Extraversion than people of Asian descent is consistent with past studies (Mastor et al., 2000; McCrae et al., 1998)

The difference in intelligence between East Asians and Europeans simply isn't enough to make up for their difference in achievement. It's not a lot. Intelligence is probably more important than conscientiousness overall.

True. I'm just saying that IQ shouldn't be held as this absolute unit by which all else has to be measured
