They have their own currency which is held together by trade with China. This is one of the reasons why China is a better superpower to whites than the US. Can you even imagine a Western country today willing to trade with Orania, let alone the US?

SS: It is easy to romanticize a place I have never visited but I always enjoy reading about Orania and the ability of a group of Afrikaners to defend their traditional way of life in the teeth of both national and international opposition.

Yeah good for them but its sad to see their efforts wasted in a land they can never succeed on.I'd hope their effort is to enrich the populace so they can return home to the fatherland to rebuild.

I've heard rumors that some youth in Orania want to rebrand the community as Afrikaner-only rather than whites-only, distancing from the white label. That would be unfortunate. I love the boers but South Africa is only 5% white and a lot of people there are mixed. There is more hope for Brazilian whites than there is for the boers.
