Yeah, I've sort of noticed that and thought about it while making the post, but ultimately didn't include it. It's advantageous for them to group anyone that transgresses even slightly into the out-group, or into the periphery thereof. Look at how even radical feminists and the like who have made minor transgressions in the past are made to flagellate themselves publicly (no, not literally, but by making horrendous preachy apologies and shit) on social media, and they see it as a good thing and completely correct. It's astounding.
