Just now noticed r/lostgeneration, which is currently promoted by reddit. The sub is supposed to be about:

the problems of an educated (and sometimes over-educated) young workforce having troubles finding employment despite "doing everything right", and just what this generation is supposed to do when the usual markers of adulthood (kids, house, marriage) have been pushed back in the name of higher education/income potential, along with the collective reorganization of a new set of values.

Yet the sub actively promotes communism, which never was about the educated getting a better life. As a matter of fact, communists treat the educated as "privileged".

Among other things, you see brigading against "alt right sites" and official announcements about UK bathroom laws. What do these have to do with the problem of the "lost generation"? Absolutely nothing, but whenever the leftists see a movement getting popular, they will attach themselves to it to promote their own irrelevant demands as if they are part of the deal.

In reality, during the last decades we had had plenty of governments that were openly leftist and got elected because they promised to find a solution to problems like unemployment. They did nothing positive and only brought in millions of "immigrants" to compete for the same jobs for less. Yet somehow presented their "lgbt rights" laws as great successes that were supposed to fix everything for the young people trying to get a job that pays a decent salary.
