I don't think we ever had that many uniques. Most of us suspected the admins started feeding us fake stats not long after the quarantine though so basically impossible to known for sure

They were hiding our pageviews but not uniques, we were getting about 3.5-4.5k uniques daily with about 20k uniques per month but our pageview stats were way lower of a ratio than other subs I modded and you could see on the graph thing that our pageviews randomly dropped by like 500k per month with the quarantine yet we kept the same amount of uniques lol. As if we had the exact same people but they just viewed less pages each for mysterious reasons.

My impression is that reddit meddles with the statistics and even the number of users.

maybe but there wasn't a noticeable difference with uniques before and after quarantine whereas pageviews almost halved so they were blatantly doing something with that
