Ukraine has nearly an identical rating to Britain, France and Sweden. Moldova scores lower than all of them. Belarus is nearly as safe as Japan when it comes to crime according to that website. Where are you getting your statistics?

Simple answer though would be poverty. Never mistake the Alt-Right position for one that says socio-economic factors play absolutely no role in crime rates it's just that race plays a larger and more important one.

I'm basing it on the murder rate since that is generally a good proxy for overall crime rate. Other crimes usually go unreported except in the richest countries, which is why African countries officially have low crime rates (but not low murder rates).

Well you're wrong in this case because I posted the overall crime rate and they're the same or much less in the countries you listed as many Western European 'multicultural' ones.
