There is one of the natural consequences of building a global empire. The UK is destined to become a mixture of all races on planet Earth, just like its empire spanned all races and religions and hundreds of ethnicities. And if you think that is "unprecedented", you're very wrong. Genetic research has shown that the original inhabitants of Rome were REPLACED- yes, REPLACED, during the imperial era by near eastern migrants. Subsequently they were then replaced by barbarians from the north. If you build an empire, expect your subjects to come knock, or bang, on your door eventually.

The genetic replacement of Romans occurred during times when Rome still had control over territories of those different people. If your theory were correct, we would expect this mass immigration to Britain occur centuries ago, when it ruled third of the world. Instead it all started only few decades ago. After Britain has given up their colonies. This is the exact opposite of what you would predict.

And this situation is not equivalent to migrants knocking on your door. It is equivalent to handing out invitations to them and helping them pack.
