SS: I often wonder what it must be like to be a member of the elite when the policies they fight for for, and impose on the rest of us, turn around and bite them. Do they begin to question their values and the effect they have on the rest of us, or do they simply brush it off and carry on as usual.

One thing I have noticed talking to people with left-wing sensibilities is how blinkered their views are. The idea that mass immigration might possibly not be of benefit to the host country is considered a truly 'wicked' thought.

The elite usually live in nice areas with good police presence. They are the last ones to find out the harsh reality.

I think they believe these policies are wanted by the majority, and implement them to avoid being killed by the masses. Because their advisors, analytics and media say so.
