What's crazy is that they just didn't have to do this. They could've just slowly, slowly, inculcated us into a perpetual 1990s America that got increasingly brown instead of coming down neo-bolshevist style with the anti-white hatred, degeneracy, censorship, and mass immigration pushing. They could've milked the cow for like 40-50 more years instead of overclocking the leftist-judeomerica system

I wonder if the populism of Trump scared the shit out of them and they overplayed their hand, or if the 'useful idiots' got off their leash and became uncontrollable. It was the Dem reaction to the riots that peaked the fuck out of me - I will never ever in my life vote Dem again and I am one of these people who cried when Trump first got elected.

How did you change from a leftist to alt righter?

You're for mass mexican immigration and affirmative action?

What do you mean?

[–]bobbobbybob 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

what is "right" and "left" are very variable over time. What Trump is presenting is pre-progressive liberalism. It isn't 'far right' by last century's values at all.

Pro migration. Pro equality, Pro affirmative action etc etc

I'm not an alt righter, except by the insane definitions of the left these days.

Until fairly recently, I assumed the mainstream media was mostly telling the truth. I hated Trump so a lot of the blatant bias slipped by me at first.

Then two things happened. Gender and trans ideology traction exploded. So much of their agenda is overtly deranged and has no basis in science (or even reality), and yet it was still being accepted and celebrated by so many unquestioning people. It became a talking point for the Dems and it shook me, and opened my eyes to some things.

Then I slowly started to realize that the media was indeed lying, making things up, or editing and twisting so many things Trump said and did. And the more I researched, the more I realized he was an 'okay' President. Certainly not the anti-Christ the hysterical pearl-clutching activist-journalists were making him out to be, and I started asking why did he send them into such a tizzy?

Also I came to the conclusion, once I started paying attention, that the majority of what the Dems are pushing I am not supportive of, so what the hell was I doing even tacitly supporting them?

What do you think of our views?

[–]Node 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

How would you describe your views?

I'm not very political in the "I'm a [political team]" sense. And situational nuance makes it hard to believe there's only one valid system. What exactly is the alt right position? Or, what do you see it as?

Do you have any theories on why they decided to accelerate?

No, that was all propped up by credit. It was going to pop no matter what. The 1990s were an aberration.

I meant more of the sociocultural aspects (less degenerate, brown, and anti-white) rather than the economic ones but yeah in the long run it was unsustainable either way

I have a feeling that 2025 will be the inflection point of liberalism

[–]EthnocratArcheofuturist[S] 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

It's definitely drawing near. All the trends are pointing to the implosion of liberalism.

[–][deleted] 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

You're very optimistic, friend. I don't think liberalism will go away after the implosion of USA at all.

[–]SoylentCapitalist 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I think it'll stick around in the Anglosphere and a few other nations in Europe. It will have less support though if the US does collapse.

[–]NeoRail 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Why not? Unless the EU somehow magically federalises, I can't imagine global liberalism outlasting the USA by more than ten or fifteen years at most. What will come to replace it is of course another question entirely. Perhaps we will just get a whole bunch of Pinochets and authoritarian boomercons all over Europe.

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

It's certainly within realm of possibility, especially if Russia and China step up their game. However, in Western/Mid Europe it will definitely stay for a while, since politicians there know how obfuscation of power is great way of keeping it, and are more sensible than American jignat sellouts, they have better grasp at soft-hard power dynamics.

In what way?

[–]casparvoneverecBig tiddy respecter 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Downwards. Something will happen in that time frame. Either a world war, a great civil war, a collapse of the dollar or state collapse in the west. It could lead to one of four outcomes:

  1. Complete Jewish victory and transformation into a totalitarian neo-marxist state with nightmarish repression incorporating all the horrors of modern technology.

  2. A breakdown of the United States or France into ethnically homogenous mini-states.

  3. Collapse of the liberal world order. The US crumbles and turns inwards. Liberalism and democracy loses purchase across the world. Countries in Europe turn into Erdogan/Putin esque regimes. The military establishment take control and appeases populists by passing popular laws and policies. A slow transformation towards a normal society begins, like Putin and Russia.

  4. A catastrophic world war and collapse of civilization.

Mass amnesty of 30 million Hispanics will be the straw that breaks the camel's back. 30 million more will flood in because, hey, that's how it works, break in, squat, get amnesty. Then comes Mexican cops with their moral code.

You underestimate some people's total obliviousness. It never ceases to amaze me when I talk to random people and I swear their world doesn't extend beyond the next luxury car they're going to lease in 2-3 years.
