You mean Popper? He/she/it has their pros and cons. Definitely still partly brainwashed to support the Left, yet often understands it's all political theater with higher puppetmasters.

Most folks here are Reddit refugees. I've never been a Redditor. M7 did 4 interviews 2.5 years ago then stopped for some reason. I found SaidIt via them. I kept trying to get Ryan Dawson to do one/some but he kept being disorganized and as unprofessional as a perpetual frat boy.

Ah, you missed a real phenomenon. It was amazing in the early years. I started about 2005ish and lasted 11 years before they nuked all the useful subs, and turned reddit into a corporate/leftist propaganda site. Ended up here and several other places.

If I remember right, @magnora7 was still on reddit and discussing getting his own site off the ground. There were only a handful of us posting here at the beginning. I ended up kind of drifting away, with some sporadic visits, but am back in from the cold in time for the apparent collapse of civilization. 😬

That's hopefully an exaggeration, but at the same time it's nice to return to the much-more civilized saidit from the wilds of the internet.

Welcome back!

Thanks. Am on the verge of drunk-posting now that my only remaining source of food/alcohol supplies (instacart) has delivered. All places remaining open require The Mask.

Nostalgia is a real thing, and saidit has a definite place in my heart.
