I think that's the entire point of the post in the first place. The children of declining -- won't use 'dying' like Ethno did -- societies think only of money while the children of emerging and vigorous societies think of things like civic duty, exploration and service to a good greater than their bank balance.

It's because liberalism doesn't believe in the greater good. Liberals think the greater good will always lead to totalitarianism. Greg Johnson has explained this beautifully.

It's the whole point of postmodernism existing in the first place, modernism was about the unifying myth; The Authoritarian Personality said the unifying myth leads to meanie bad guys therefore we need postmodernism to socially engineer everyone into being deracinated and then we also need to destroy all community bonds. It's pretty much out in the open they say they're doing this to intentionally destroy our societies and pretty much no one talks about it.
