I don't have an advanced view on this topic. What's your criticism of his take on materialism if you don't mind.

Something must be eternal. Anything thing can give rise of something from nothing would mean that the state of nothingness never existed in the first place because there would be some Law that allows something to be created from nothing. A true state of nothingness would mean eternal nothingness and nonexistence. Therefore there must be some form of forces that are not created but are eternal and blindly give rise to material which then gives rise to consciousness. This would apply even if there was a multiverse, there would be forces that give rise the multiverse or the multiverse itself is enteral.

Any concept of eternal defies our rational understanding of existence. We just apply God like eternal and creative properties to blind forces which seems more rational than believing consciousness itself is the enteral element to existence. The belief that consciousness to be fundamental doesn't mean enteral consciousness is a Godlike being with its own sense of self.

I may be incorrect on this but isn't a multiverse self-negating. I don't know much on it but isn't the idea it about infinite possibilities? If that's the case then wouldn't one of those possibilities be where some entity destroys all the multiverses?

Wouldn't an infinite multiverse that is truly infinite also have universes where God/Gods exist?

Yeah, that's possible. But wouldn't it just take one to make it kaput?

I wasn't disagreeing with what you said. I was just pointing out that the multiverse concept which is used to explain how our universe could be organized in a way that gives rise to life without "God" doesn't succeed in doing so.

Okay, gotcha, thank you for clarifying.
