Can we talk about how disgusting Amy Coney Barrett is?

We have probably tens of thousands of White orphans in the US and who knows how many non-White orphans who all would love to be adopted by her. None of them were good enough though for her.

This woman purposely went over to another country to adopt two black kids, who in any other situation would be out there protesting against her even being on the SC. It probably cost her a good deal of time, money and headaches too.

And why? Well, we all know why. It was strictly for virtue signalling points. A regular orphan wasn't good enough for her. A non-White orphan wasn't good enough for her. This woman needed a non-White orphan from another country with disabilities for maximum virtue signalling points. And that's all it really can be.

And while she's bad, her husband is even worse. Imagine your fucking wife telling you she wants to adopt black kids. What kind of worthless cuck would allow that to happen?

And it's not like she's a Dem, who I'd expect this from. She's supposed to be a pick from an "America First" president who claims to be tough on immigration and wanting to preserve the character of the US.

What a joke.

I hate to use this term, but she's a run of the mill evangelical/catholic christcuck. It was an incredibly cynical pick by Trump. She's right wing on the conservatard things that dont matter, like abortion, or on things conservatives are a train wreck on, like tax cuts for the wealthiest, deregulation, health care, corporate empowerment, abolishing all campaign finance laws and accountability, and the neoconservative homeland security surveillance state, and finally she's probably going to be liberal on things like immigration, censorship, affirmative action and all manner of racial preferences and SJW bullshit on race.

She's the worst of all worlds, and despite her virtue signalling by adopting some kids from Haiti, liberals and blm/woke witch hunters will still hate her guts.

Being from a second world country, abortion is not really an issue I ride-or-die with but I do find it amusing/interesting that your left wing acts like vampires splashed with holy water everytime it is threatened.

Drives home those theories about "spiteful mutants" and the common thread of the left wing is anti-natalist hordes of degenerates and the sociopathic wranglers of said degenerates.

My own personal views on it are complicated. I dont see it as a black and white issue. There are certainly legit reasons to be uncomfortable with the fact they are killing something that is literally a developing human being. The answer for when life begins is somewhere between conception and birth. There is no magical dividing line between blob of cells and human. The pro abortion zealots totally ignore this.

The problem is that this developing human being is in a fully developed human beings body, so you then have the question of does this persons body somehow become property of the state as soon as they are known to be pregnant? Because thats what you're basically doing when you declare they are obligated by law to carry the pregnancy to term whether they want to or not. The anti abortion types ignore this.

There will never be a definitive answer. It will always be a matter of perspective. I hate to say it, but from a ruthlessly logical societal POV abortion would be a net positive, because it eliminates unwanted pregnancies that would likely disproportionately wind up being societys most dysfunctional and least productive. Still, that doesnt change the fact you are killing a developing human being and robbing it of its chance for a life you got to experience absent your mother doing the same to you.

            As we all know by now and there's good data for this that being virtuous is psychologically addictive. I'd wager the likes of Barrett and a man like David French actually get higher on the opium of virtue than the left.

            As for legally as with all originalists I expect absolutely zero from her. Our side does not produce ideologues who will shape the law to suit their worldview and be proactive as that would be impolite and besides we have the left to do that job for us. I expect a long, dull and utterly pointless career and for her to become Kagan's bestie and go on goofy holidays with her and wax lyrical about how Kagan taught her the wonders of the Talmud much like Scalia and RBG.

            I overuse this term but yes it is all so very tiresome.

            Would y'all shut the fuck up? There's a huge waiting list to adopt children in the US. She went out of her way to adopt (presumably) because adoption in the US is a more difficult process and takes years.

            But yes I don't like her and the fact she is astroturfed straight to the top of the gop shows how left wing this party has gotten
