A verminous organisation called HOPE not HATE (the chairman is a Jew, Nick Lowles and he has a homosexual 2iC called Joe Mulhall) is very similar to the ADL. Their mission is to suppress anything deemed the "far-right." They go after white nationalists, civnats, hardline Brexiteers, counter-Jihad types, QAnon, etc. They push for censorship in both the public and private spheres, they clearly work behind the scenes with Antifa to dox people, they get people fired from their jobs, etc.

They seem to have an eagle eye. When Millennial Woes was a nobody with only a few hundred or so subscribers on YouTube, Nick Lowles put out an ad asking people to ID him (this was way before he was doxxed). Bearing in mind, HNH is not some obscure left-wing organisation in the UK, the government and media laughably treat them as some kind of expert source on "extremism."

A lot of it is due to US cultural/political influence, especially the BLM nonsense.

I know it's not exactly what you asked, but there is a history of black grievance politics in the UK. The radical left have been pushing it in small doses since the 1970s or so, but it really took off in the early-mid 90s when a black teenager in London by the name of Stephen Lawrence was stabbed to death by some white tearaways who were "racists." The Metropolitan Police screwed up the investigation (such as the forensics) and they went free. You can see where this is going... there was an outcry, the MacPherson Report was published a few years later condemning the police for being "institutionally racist." Protectings against Double Jeopardy, a legal precedent that had been in England for several centuries was overturned because of this one case and two of the men were eventually convicted.
